One of the things that sets Hillside Associates apart is my firsthand experience as a business professional.

For more than 30 years (1991–2021), I worked in the trucking industry while building Hillside Associates. That experience gave me a practical understanding of the financial, operational, and tax challenges faced by owner-operators, independent contractors, trucking companies, and other self-employed business owners.

Because I've experienced those challenges firsthand, I understand that running a business involves much more than filing a tax return. It means managing cash flow, controlling expenses, planning for taxes, and making informed financial decisions throughout the year.

Today, I continue to specialize in serving self-employed individuals, contractors, owner-operators, trucking companies, and small businesses. My clients benefit from practical advice backed by both professional tax expertise and real-world business experience.
